10 years ago in Minnewaska

Almost exactly 10 years ago, Raheli and I were hiking in Minnewaska, swimming in Lake Awosting and picking blue berries, when it struck us that we should get married. We agreed on a trail in the woods, and were married 3 months later. We took the kids to the park today to escape the heat, swim in the Peter Kill, and pick blueberries. It was a wonderful, relaxing day, in a truly special place.

Able even spotted a colony of small sun dew along the river. After a misidentified skunk cabbage last spring, this is our first NY carnivorous plant.
